The Nifty opened gap up today and traded above level of 22800 approximately after a month and closed near level of 22834, positive by 1.45% whereas Sensex surged over 1100 points. ICICI Bank was the top performer today by 3.22% in Nifty 50. The Nifty Midcap 100 was up by 2.2% while Nifty Smallcap 100 was up by 2.7%. The Nifty Auto Index closed at 2.38%, wherein Tata Motors being the gainer in top 5 gainers. Meanwhile, the FIIs have turned into buyers after straight 17 sessions.
