The market experienced a weak session today. Nifty opened with a gap-down of about 60 points and continued to decline, hitting a low of 24,810. It then moved sideways around this level for the rest of the day, eventually closing 255 points lower, or down 0.90%, at approximately 24,830. Meanwhile, Bank Nifty also turned bearish after a flat start, slipping to a low of 56,450 and ending the day with a loss of 537 points, or 0.94%.
