The Nifty index traded in a narrow range today after an opening gap. Initially, the index saw a sharp decline, touching a low of 25,060, before making a recovery. From there, it remained largely flat, fluctuating within a 60-point range and ultimately closed near 25,100, showing little movement.

Similarly, the Bank Nifty also faced a downturn after the opening and spent the remainder of the session consolidating. As a result, it ended the day in the red, down by 0.37%.
