The market experienced a largely sideways session today. After opening flat, the Nifty moved within a narrow 70-point band throughout the day, fluctuating between 25,420 and 25,490. However, a surge in buying during the final hour brought in some bullish momentum. As a result, it ended the day with a modest gain of 0.24%, closing nearly flat around the 25,520 mark. Meanwhile, the Bank Nifty showed a bullish performance and closed on a positive note, gaining 300 points.
